 6.Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) Transportation Policy Board Member Appointment (Attachment) - Karen Parkhurst, TRPC
In discussing a replacement for Doug DeForest on this committee, Board member and Second Vice Chair Madrone volunteered to serve, and Board member Mejia volunteered as the alternate.  At the December meeting, the Board will open the floor to other nominations and then take action.

7.Trails Plan Update Including Grand Mound & Rochester Feasibility Study (Attachment) (Presentation) - Paul Brewster, TRPC, and Katrina Van Every, TRPC

The 2007 Regional Trails Plan included a Gate-Rochester-Grand Mound Trail proposal. In 2018, TRPC awarded Thurston County $150,000 in federal funding to perform a Southwest Thurston County Trail Feasibility Study, evaluating how such a trail could connect Grand Mound, Rochester, and the Chehalis Reservation. TRPC staff will discuss the study, which was launched in fall 2021.  

 After reporting on this illustrative feasibility study, staff will segue into the role of Regional Trails Plan as a 10-year master plan/strategy for development of a connected trail network.
