Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) invites public comment on 2 proposed amendments to the 2017-2020 Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) of state-sponsored, federally funded, and regionally significant transportation projects in Thurston County.

  • In the first amendment, WSDOT proposes restoring funding to the Preliminary Engineering (PE) phase of the I-5/SR 510 Interchange – Reconstruct Interchange project.

  • The second amendment is from Thurston County for the Innovative Safety Program – High Friction Surfacing Treatment, and reflects that the project has secured federal funding for the Construction (CN) phase, and is to obligate in 2017. The amendment will include a new total cost, the source of funding, and a revised title, description, and obligation date.
