The number of electric vehicles registered in Thurston County has more than tripled since 2018, from 1,149 to 3,497 as of September 2022. Electric vehicle remain a small number of registrations — approximately 1.4% of all vehicles.
Per the US Department of Energy Alternative Fuels Data Center, there are 55 public electric vehicle charging stations in Thurston County. Each station may contain more than one charger.
