Federal Transportation Funding for Projects in the Thurston Region

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) invites all community members and stakeholders to review and submit comments on 29 project proposals for TRPC’s regional federal transportation grant program. TRPC will award $12,589,000 million in Surface Transportation Program funds, $1,360,000 in Transportation Alternatives Program funds, and $1,2000,000 in Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program funds to eligible priority projects.

The project proposals may be viewed online at https://www.trpc.org/879/Federal-Funding-Call-for-Projects.

TRPC will conduct its final review and selection of projects on Friday, July 10, 2020. All projects selected for funding will be included in the Regional Transportation Improvement Program.

The deadline for comments is Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. PDT. Be sure to include the project title with your comment, as well as your own name and address.
