Transportation Policy Board (TPB)
The Transportation Policy Board (TPB) is an advisory body to the Regional Council with a specific focus on regional transportation issues. The TPB is made up of elected representatives from member jurisdictions. It also includes representatives from the Port of Olympia and the Washington State Department of Transportation, as well as three business representatives and two citizen representatives. Washington State Legislators from the 22nd Legislative District are ex-officio non-voting members of the TPB.
Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is an advisory body to the TPB for transportation issues, primarily technical in nature. The TAC is made up of transportation staff from member jurisdictions.
Committees and Task Forces
From time to time, the Council will address special projects. This may involve the designation of a committee or task force to focus on subject matter areas that the entire Council cannot address in their monthly meetings.
