Process Schedule

 

The STP, TAP and CMAQ project application and selection processes follow the same schedule. The following dates and deadlines apply to all three programs. All dates are for 2016.

October 17   Project Proposal Applications due by 5:00 p.m. PST
October 20   Technical Advisory Committee Review of Proposals
October 24 - November 4   Public Review & Comment on Proposals
November 4   TRPC Preliminary Review of Proposals
November 9   Transportation Policy Board (TPB) Project Review and Recommendations to TRPC
December 2   TRPC Project Review and Action on Project Selection

There is a separate application for each grant program. Each applications is four pages and is available for download in an Adobe Acrobat Portable Document fillable form format.2 If you require the application in another format, please contact TRPC (see contact information in the Staff Support section below). 

Note: The minimum font size accepted for applications is 10 pt. Applicants may submit up to a maximum of four additional pages per project application to include items such as maps, images, or letters of support.

The Federal Highways Administration and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) have specific requirements for administering and managing federally funded projects. The final authority on project eligibility is the WSDOT office of Highways and Local Programs.
