Explanation Of the school districts in Thurston County, North Thurston was the most diverse during the 2014-2015 school year. Only 51.3% of students identified themselves as white. The Olympia and Rochester School Districts had the second highest proportion of minority students.

The Tenino School District was the most homogeneous district, with roughly 87.3% of its students being white.
