Thurston Regional Planning Council develops an annual work program outlining planned activities and funding.
The Thurston Regional Planning Council receives funding from a variety of sources. A large portion of the council’s revenue comes from grants.
Jurisdictions and organizations who chose to be a member of the council are assessed based on a per capita formula. This formula is defined in the council’s by-laws (PDF).
As a separate function, Thurston Regional Planning Council also provides various contract services to local jurisdictions including planning, data analysis, mapping, as well as board and commission staff support.
